Mike is originally from Michigan. His interest in transportation and urban development expanded when he interned for Michigan Suburbs Alliance in 2007. Having worked with a southeast Michigan DDA and city office, Mike realizes the importance and advantages of a walkable community. He believes new design and technology can bring this about in a unique way!

TAEHO KO

Human-Computer Interaction at University of Michigan
BS in Interaction Design

Before coming to U of M, Taeho worked in various roles on several groundbreaking projects in Seoul, Korea. He worked as a user experience research and interaction designer at NHN Naver, one of the biggest internet companies in Korea, and at several other mobile and design agencies. At NHN, Taeho contributed to various projects in the areas of search, blog, movie, mobile, and corporate intranet. He was a lead interaction designer for Naver Shopping. He just finished his internship at IDEO SF as an interaction designer.

ANNA JONSSON

Human-Computer Interaction at University of Michigan
BA in Film and Video Studies and Creative Writing

Anna was raised in Michigan, and in 2004 interned for the Leelanau Smart Growth Coaltion, part of the Michigan Land Use Institute. Anna believes that Smart Growth principles and a well designed system can work in tandem to promote walkability and enhance communities. As an essayist, she has contributed to such online projects as Generation Y Michigan and Flow TV.

GARIMA GARG

Human-Computer Interaction and Information Analysis and Retrieval at University of Michigan
BS in Computer Science

After completing her engineering with honors from India, Garima worked for Asia’s leading software consultancy firm “TCS” as an IT analyst. She joined a dual specialization in University of Michigan because in her consultancy experience she finds “designing right” plays a leading role in success of a system. Garima wants to organize the world’s information in a way that it is easily available and understandable by human beings.

YI-WEI CHIA

Human-Computer Interaction at University of Michigan
BS in Computer Science

Coming from Taiwan, Yi-Wei Chia is a multi-touch  system designer. From multi-touch UI design to touch-detecting  system integration, Yi-Wei has experienced different kinds of job and solved various system-integrated problems. In this project, he will play the role of system integrator to establish the connection between possible different resources.
